Plaka Beach
One of the Cyclades' longest sand beaches — 4 km of fine sand on Naxos with a long-established clothing-optional southern section.
Family-friendly LGBTQ+ friendly $
Plaka Beach stretches for around 4 km along the western coast of Naxos, gradually transitioning from family-friendly tavernas at the northern end to a long-established clothing-optional section in the south. The beach is wide, calm, and protected from northerly winds. A few beach bars and tavernas sit behind the sand; otherwise the long southern stretch is largely undeveloped.
